Delete Your Riako Account

You can delete your Riako account and the personal data linked to it at any time. Uninstalling the app does not delete your account — please follow one of the options below.

1. Delete in the app (fastest, immediate)

  1. Open the Riako app (iPhone or Android) and sign in.
  2. Tap the My tab at the bottom right.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account, then confirm.

Deletion takes effect immediately and cannot be undone.

2. No longer have the app? Request deletion by email

Send an email to [email protected] with the subject Account deletion request. Please send it from the email address of the Google or Apple account you used to sign in to Riako (if you used Apple's "Hide My Email", tell us that relay address), so we can find your account.

This is also the way to delete an account you used only on the website (riako.ai), which has no delete button. We will confirm your request and complete the deletion within 30 days.

3. What is deleted and what is kept

Deleted or anonymized

  • Your email address, display name, bio and profile image (removed from your account immediately)
  • Your push notification tokens, so you receive no further notifications
  • Access to the account — it can no longer be signed in to
  • Your chats and the characters you created are no longer linked to your identity — they stay attached only to the anonymized account record, which no one can sign in to

Kept

  • Characters you made public may remain visible to others in anonymized form (without your name).
  • Purchase and transaction records that we, Apple, Google or Stripe must keep by law (for example, for tax and fraud prevention). These are not linked to your name or email on our side.

4. Subscriptions and credits

Deleting your account does NOT cancel your subscription. Cancel it separately, before you delete your account, or you may continue to be charged:

  • iPhone (App Store): Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Riako → Cancel Subscription
  • Android (Google Play): Play Store → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Riako → Cancel
  • Website (card payment via Stripe): riako.ai → Profile → Cancel Subscription, or email us

Any remaining credits are lost when the account is deleted and are not refunded.
